| Summary: | A Bundenbach-slab with 11 seelilies, two brittle-stars and a cephalopod shows how rich and various the occupants of a small area of sea bottom could be in the Lower Devonian. This observation was initially made by X-rays and confirmed by preparation. It concerns fossils of the seelilies Parisangulocrinus zeaeformis, Hapalocrinus elegans and Thallocrinus sp., the brittle-stars Eospondylus primigenius and Ophiurina lymani and the cephalopod Orthoceras sp.. |
