Summary: The Hunsrück Slate is well known for its pyritized fossils, but there are siliceous and phosphatized specimens too. These maybe might cover and become blurred body structures, but cause a threedimensional preservation. The concretious phosphatization concerns trilobites, phyllocarid crustaceans, orthoconic nautiloids, ammonoids, gastropods, bivalves and fishes. The new discovered phyllocarid crustacean Ceratiocarus harpago and the transported out to sea scorpion Palaeoscorpious devonicus have been described in more detail. At the end, the considerable preparation of the fishes Drepanaspis and Gemuendina is presented. Photo: C. Leins, Tübingen
